Student Organizations

SGA meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Adams Center in room 224.

Jim Brummett, SGA president elect, will hold a cabinet and university committee position appointment forum on Wednesday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Adams Center Ballroom A. Anyone interested in any of these leadership positions, please pick up an application in the SGA office Adams Center room 233, or call ext. 3212. If you are interested but unable to attend the meeting, please come by the SGA office for pertinent information.

CAPP Peers will meet on May 13 at 4 p.m. in the Health Center on the bottom floor of Hamil Hall. Anyone interested is invited to attend.


Scholarships

The Society for Advancement of Management spring awards banquet will be May 14 at 6 p.m. in the Adams Center Ballrooms. The cost is $6 per person. Contact Jennifer Kimbro or Hank Finley at 566-8666 for further information.


"My Fair Lady"

The Troy State University's musical theatre will open ir's performance "My Fair Lady" tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Smith Hall Autitorm. "My Fair Lady" will also be performed Friday night at the same time.


Greeks

Delta Chi Fraternity will hold their annual Luau on May 8-10. Tickets are on sale now for all three band parties. Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door. Bands include: "King Konga," Thursday night, "Hogg Mountain Lugg Nutts," Friday night, "Soft Rocking Cow" and "Blue Flannel" on Saturday. Saturday is Alumni and Parents Day. All events will be held at the Delta Chi house and the proceeds will benefit Banks Elementary School.

Congratulations to Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Kappa Delta for winning first place during Greek Week.


PCO Daybook Entries:

Any organization that would like an announcement in the pre-college orientation issue of the Tropolitan should submit it to the Tropolitan office by Thursday, May 22. The PCO issue will be distributed to all 1997-98 incoming students during the PCO sessions and will be available to summer students.
