-    Fourteen security analysts managing corporate and customer firewalls, SecurID two-factor authentication, network and server security, intrusion detection, and perimeter control for BellSouth Internet Services

-     Supported the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) by using Cisco equipment in the lab to re-create customer problems and find solutions in the Access (dialup) group, Network Management group, and the Multiservices (VoIP) group

-     Dramatically increased lab productivity and reduced idle lab equipment by designing and implementing an intranet-based lab checkout system, where engineers could reserve lab equipment online.

-     Significantly increased co-op  productivity by designing and implementing a queue-based case system for the co-ops, where TAC members could enter requests for lab setups online

-     Worked as an intern, obtaining college credit at Georgia Tech

-     Designed and implemented an intranet resume-tracking program for HR to electronically monitor and dispatch potential resumes to the different departments; was in use at many of Cisco’s sites by the end of 1998.
