The Hall
School of Journalism and Communication has always been in the
lead for adopting and using technology at Troy University. The
school was the first to place a Web server online at Troy and
the first to use the Web as a tool in teaching its classes.
Another of the many technology firsts at Troy is that the school
was first to start teaching Web design in its classes.
What these
"firsts" mean is that Troy University's Hall School
of Journalism and Communication is able to quickly analyze,
understand and use emerging technologies and that students gain
practical experience working with these technologies on Troy
University's World Wide Web servers and networks
All print
and broadcast journalism majors are required to successfully
complete two technology courses.
