Academic advising in the Hall School of Journalism and Communication is an important service provided to assist you in making progress towards earning your degree.

All HSJC students are assigned an advisor and are required to see their advisors prior to registration. This helps you stay on track in your academic program plus your advisor will remove your advising hold allowing you to register via Trojan Web Express.

Appointment sign up sheets will be posted on your advisor's office door prior to registration. Sign up early for a time that is convenient to you. (Don't miss a class to make or keep an advising appointment.)

Current requirements for the Hall School of Journalism and Communication major, minors and contracts are available in Adobe's Acrobat PDF format. Please select from the following:

• Print, broadcast and journalism contracts for majors who declared prior to August 2005
• Print, broadcast and journalism contracts for students in the program prior to August 2005 and declared after July 2005.
• Print, broadcast and journalism contracts for students entering Troy after July 2005.
• Communication Arts majors and Speech Communication minor for students entering Troy after July 2005.
