There
has always been lots of energy around the Hall School of Journalism.
The excitement generated by merging Troy University's Speech
and Communication Arts program with Troy's journalism school
has resulted in unmistakable momentum.
As
the new Hall School of Journalism and Communication moves
forward, our exciting programs and outstanding faculty members
continue to challenge their students to maximize their potential
as learners, critical thinkers and clear communicators. This
remains central to our vision and is the primary reason our
faculty and academic resources are focused on offering an
unparalleled academic experience and challenging our students
to think like journalists and communicators.
The
small class size found at Troy and innovative uses of technology
creates opportunities and programs ready for the 21st century.
Through these classes, the Hall School of Journalism and Communication
encourages students to stretch beyond what is taught in conventional
journalism and communication academic programs by adding many
hands-on opportunities. This helps students apply classroom
theories and to build the experiences needed for their careers.
Our classes combine rigor with relevance.
We also believe in your personal and professional success
and challenge you to discover a future of your own making.
This is because we want students who want to make an impact
on the industry. But, Troy students already know this. They
see it in action in class everyday.
